Based on the Borromean Ring
The Borromean ring is a union of 3 circles which interlocks each other in a way so that when any one of them is removed the others will disconnect. In another words, no 2 rings are connected but all 3 are. The link is also known as a Brunnian link. This is usually used to symbolise unity and is the symbol of the House of Borromeo.
The Borromean Money Box
The money box consists of 3 boxes, with a hole in the middle, which links into each other but will collapse if 1 of the box is removed (boxes are not removable). This means that all the boxes are in fact different money boxes.
